Spring time is a good time to tune up your body to get ready for conception. Eat fresh foods in season. Go to your local farmer’s market for fresh greens. Dandelion greens are a perfect green for detox at this time of the year. Salads that are fresh provide lots of antioxidants. Eat seasonally. Be sure you’re getting enough folate or folic acid. Get some exercise. Do a walking meditation where you can reflect on what it means to be a mother. Set some goals for yourself. Reconsider your birth control method if you are using a chemical method. You may want to change to a more natural process. Think about the soul that is coming into your life. What kind of child needs you as a mother. What type of child do you want to mother? Pregnancy is not a simple process, but it is a natural process. Think about your needs, your options and what you need to do to get really healthy. You owe it to yourself and your baby.
