Squeeky Wheels

A word about hospital etiquette. Professional nurses want to create the best environment for their patients to recover. We want to have time to meet your needs, teach you the things you need to know to care for yourself and your baby. In order for you to do that, we need you to stop texting, turn off the tv, and limit your visitors. We want to assist you in any way we can with the exception of picking up your soiled clothes off the floor and your meal trays that are left outside your door. Although hospitals often have hotel-like services, they are not hotels. Squeeky wheels do get the grease but that doesn’t mean that you should behave like one. Patients in hospitals often have a tough time. It’s not an easy environment no matter how much we try to make it pleasant. Partner with us so that we can give you the best possible care. Make your hospital stay count!
